Tahoma, the Native American name for Mt. Ranier, means roughly “the
mountain that is god.” This is a powerful work encompassing the force and
unpredictability of this mountain. Scored for SOLO BASSOON (or cello, with
an optional Bb part included), 6 C flutes, alto, and bass. An optional C part is
included for the alto. This is truly an innovative addition to the flute choir
repertoire!
