Magic & Mystery/Halloween

These pieces make a terrific Halloween concert! Combine some of these with some of the pieces from the "Any Day" programs, and dedicate a concert to "Nights" or Evenings". Or get celestial, and do a program about the sky and the stars and the planets. Try it at a planetarium! Add costumes and encourage audience participation. Have a costume contest; or perhaps a parade at intermission. Puppets and mimes are also good. This kind of concert invites decorations, and the back of a music stand is certainly a possibility. Don't limit this to Halloween only. Invite a magician to be a part of the program. This could be a clever birthday party. Let your imaginations go!
